Spindletop Helps with Back to School Efforts at the CCSC
Posted June 4, 2020
Christian Community Service Center (CCSC) serves the poor, hungry, disabled and otherwise needy while respecting their religious, ethnic, or cultural differences. Since 1986, CCSC has prepared under-resourced students through its Back to School program. This year, more than 6,500 children (Pre K— 12th grade) received grade appropriate school supplies and vouchers for uniforms and shoes. In August 2019, Spindletop volunteers helped assemble and distribute the school supply bags to the families in need.
“Spindletop Charities aims to make the city of Houston a better place; where boys and girls of all ages, backgrounds, and upbringing have the resources they need to succeed and realize their full potential.”
