View ProjectSince 1966, Spindletop Charities, Inc. has contributed over $20 million to aid programs targeting child abuse prevention, pediatric medical research, drug and alcohol abuse prevention and rehabilitation, education and scholarships, school safety, therapeutic services and after-school programs, and family health.
Spindletop donations continue to make an impact in the community.

The 2007 Spindletop Board of Trustees approved a $690,000 pledge to Brookwood Community for the structure of the new state-of-the-art 24,480 square foot “sawtooth style” Spindletop Greenhouse.
View ProjectEnhanced Technology Digital Conversion Network & The Spindletop Expressive Arts Therapy Services Room
Recognizing the need for advanced technology for the investigation of child sexual abuse, Spindletop donated $450,000 to fund the Children’s Assessment Center’s state-of-the-art forensic interviewing digital conversion project in 2005 and 2008. In 2012 an additional $100,000 was donated for CAC’s expressive arts therapy program.
View ProjectThe Spindletop Dream Field
The Spindletop Dream Field located at the M.D. Anderson Family YMCA was completed in 2014. The $80,000 donation helped refurbish an unsafe playing field into a positive youth sports experience venue for the youth and families living in Houston’s Northside community.
View ProjectSpindletop provides college scholarships through organizations such as the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, the Texas Ranger Association Foundation and Yes Prep Public Schools. Depending on the recipient organization, one or more students are selected to benefit from the Spindletop funds.
View ProjectEach year, Spindletop Charities, Inc. hosts site visits to several youth organizations. Attended by Spindletop event sponsors and volunteers, these visits highlight the beneficiaries of the generous Spindletop sponsor donations.
Spindletop Charities, Inc. focuses on specific projects and programs for children in need. Spindletop does not contribute to operational budgets of charities that would be dependent on Spindletop funds for their sustainability. Spindletop contributions are approved each year by the Spindletop Board of Trustees.
Spindletop Charities, Inc. donates to organizations supporting youth in the Greater Houston Area.
The Spindletop annual events are attended by representatives of the oil and gas industry.
